How to Change Computer Name?

In Windows 10/8:

• Click the Windows button the search for Settings.
• Open Settings then go to System > About.
• In the About page you can find a button Rename PC.
• Type the new name for your computer. Spaces are not allowed. You can only use letters, digits and hyphens.
• Then click Next.
• Here a pop-up will ask you to restart your computer now or later. If you want to change the new name immediately then click Restart now.

In Windows 7:

• Click the Start button then right-click on the Computer and go to Properties.
• Click on the Change Settings.
• Then click Change button under the Computer Name Tab.
• Type the new name for your computer.
• Now click OK for a few times.
• Reboot your computer to change the new name immediately.
