Difference between Static and Dynamic IP address


Static IP Address: A static ip address is a address which is fixed or can not be changes. It is a address for your computer provides by a internet service provider It is also not changed when the computer is connected to internet. Static ip address is useful for hosting a website, gaming, using networked printers, having a file server in our network, running a print server etc. It you are not using static ip address it creates a lot of problem for hosting web site. Because every time when a new ip address is assigned to your computer you have to change the setting s of your router to send request to that new address. The advantages of static ip address are that it is cheap, easy to best for online gaming etc. It is easy to use vpn with static ip address. But it is easy to back as address never changes.

Dynamic IP Address: A dynamic ip address is on address which is temporary and changes from time to time. Most of then routers of home and business user are assigned in a dynamic ip address by their ISP. The key advantage of dynamic ip address that it more flexible and it is easy to set up than static ip address. When a device connects to the internet he device is assigned with a dynamic ip address. Then when the device disconnect from internet the ip address will be free and can be connected with another device. At the next time when the device again connect to the internet it will gets a different ip address.
