Difference between Linux and Windows Operating System
Linux OS: Linus is one of the most popular operating system are kernel distributed under an open source. It is open source and it source code is available. A Linux was first introduced in the year 1991. As is it open source anyone can modify the source code.
Linux was designed similar to UNIX. The idea of Linux operating system or kernel first proposed by Linux Torvalds. He wax a computer science student and worked on the Unix. So he created a kernel and named it Linux in the year 1991. At time passed by other programmers collaborated with it and at present Linux is one of the most common and open source operating system.
Windows OS: Windows is also one of the most popular operating system. It was first developed by the Microsoft in the yeae of 1983. After that more than a sozen of version is developed and released by Microsoft. The current version is Windows low. The cores is same is every windows. Watch version includes a graphical user interface. Then windows 3.5 windows 4.0 and windows 2000 was released one by one. When the windows XP was released in 2001, Microsoft developed different edition of the operating system for both home and business purposes. Microsoft also provides windows os servers and smartphones.
